Preparedness Mini-classes

We all know a storm is coming. Most of us believe that it will take place sooner, rather than later. These classes are designed to get more people out and get them educated on important topics while we have time. These shorter classes will cover most of what is involved in the full, 8-hour Disaster Preparedness class. Less time and less money expended but more material covered. The 8-hour class just can't possibly do justice to every topic. There are a few things that need a little more attention so we've added the Mini-classes. We will be adding a number of different topics over the next couple of months check back often!

Community Emergency Response

and

Preparedness Training Seminar

The next class will be the full CERPT Seminar (not to be confused with CERT).

8 full hours of Community Emergency Response Preparedness Training!  One class, one low price!

Because of our passion to share this information, this class has been slashed to nearly 40% of our normal 1-day class prices!

Part I
Disaster Communications

** Community Emergency Response Preparedness Training (CERPT) **

We have all discussed it and many have prepared individually but have you thought about groups, large families, neighborhoods, even small communities and towns?

The CERPT class is designed to help understand the enormity of preparing larger groups of people for a large scale disaster, even when some don't want it.

CERPT will delve into community defense, food, water, medical, power and communications concerns. There will likely be no 911! There may not be any law enforcement. In fact, there may be plenty of just the opposite during the event that you are preparing for!

This class is heavy on communications. We believe that reliable communications and the knowledge to conduct it is every bit as important as defense and sustenance. DISCOMM will cover every feasible means to stay in touch with groups, family members and authorities during a worst-case disaster scenario. What is best for your situation? HAM, CB, FRS, GMRS,  Wired and wireless communications, long and short distance, costs, installation, licensing concerns, EMP protection of your equipment and much, much more! Do you have an established group Emergency Communications Plan?

We will also spend a good bit of time on a topic that everyone should be concerned about in this day and age and that is secure communications!

CERPT covers it all and our 40-page CERPT manual will be available!
